Interested buyer does contact us with your authenticity to purchase. Buyer can be direct user or trader.  Authorized agents and mandates are also invited.

The scrap is obtained during resizing of the TMT finished product manufacturing at factory. The TMT scrap is sold by the factory as it is where it is basis. Transport and loading to be arranged by the buyer at his own costs.

Inspection is available to genuine buyers. The price will be according to present prevailing market. No credit will be provided.

Provision for exclusive stocking for the buyer is available against extra charges.

To be noted, the supply is available on monthly. Buyer can stock the material and lift at their own cost on daily basis. Stocking will be charged extra.

The end cutting of the TMT is 100% for recycling and not for reuse. The size is below 1 foot with no standard size. It’s just end cuttings generated during sizing of the finished product.

The pipes and heavy machinery body is mainly of cast iron as can be seen in the pictures.

The approx quantity of iron scrap is around ten thousand metric tons, cast iron will be around four thousand metric tons along with copper estimated around three thousand metric tons(along with pvc cover). The quantity details provided is rough estimation and authentic buyer with potential financial background is invited for the inspection.

Heavy Melting Scrap is in High Demand

The soaring prices of Steels in China and India has resulted in increase of the prices of Iron Ore, Iron Metals Scrap, Coal and other steel making raw material. This may continue to increase in the coming days. During the financial year 2011, Chinese production was marked as record high due to high demand from the world market especially from residential projects and infrastructure.

It is expected that the prices of steel will increase in or after the month of October. The demand is growing due to the urbanization of India and China along with other countries.

In India, the ban of iron ore from the major mineral supplying state of Karnataka has pushed the operational costs which showed the negative impact on the production of steel in India. The metal stocks were trading low.

High Demand of HMS Scrap and Spot Prices

The finished steel prices in the international market have gone down but still there is no major impact on the prices of HMS Scrap. With the high demand and limited supply, the HMS Scrap still maintains the same pace in the market. It is expected in the coming year, the demand of the steel will increase by six percent and this clearly indicates that the prices of the HMS Scrap will rise rather than going down.

From past three consecutive months HMS Scrap is maintaining its prices at US$ 420/MT (Bundle Scrap) and shredded scrap prices gone up by USD 2/MT. The HMS 1-2 has maintained its level at USD 458/MT in break bulk whereas pig iron of steel grade was trading at USD 499/MT. The Pig Iron of Casting grade traded around USD 507/MT. 

The prices of HMS Scrap rose in Spain this week due to high competition. The demand of Scrap is also increasing in India. The Scrap is mainly imported in containers shipments to major ports in India. There are very few traders who are importing in break bulk to India. Most of the break bulk shipment against the high demand from China.
